“Mental Health in the Workplace” Employer Luncheon to be Held

The way employees think, feel, and behave can impact everything from productivity and communication to their ability to work safely.  Promoting good mental health in the workplace can be one of the most important steps an employer takes to improve an organization.  Depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues can be costly to employers.  The reasons for promoting good mental health in the workplace reach far beyond a company’ bottom line.  Supporting employees in feeling their best while on the job can also help improve mental health on a personal level, a win-win situation for everyone.

AAMC’s Direct Health Industrial Medicine program is hosting a complimentary luncheon and presentation for local employers entitled “Mental Health in the Workplace” on Tuesday, October 16th at 12:00 noon in the hospital’s administrative wing Education Room.  The presentation will be led by Adrienne Logan, LISW, CP/S, Behavioral Health Therapist from the Abbeville Area Healthcare Center.  Space is limited.  Please RSVP by Friday, October 12th to Jennifer Moore at 864-366-7920 or JenniferMoore@AbbevilleAreaMC.com.
